About the role: Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning, this is an exciting opportunity to be immersed within a corporate Human Resources environment and gain critical experience to help jumpstart your career in the HR & Talent Acquisition field. You’ll be tasked with everything from supporting corporate recruiting efforts to assisting with project execution and other HR initiatives as needed.
**This internship will be based out of ECRE's headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.
What you’ll do:
Recruiting Support:
Assist with the creation of job postings on various platforms.
Manage interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers.
Coordinate pre-hire requirements including background checks, reference checks, and employee file creation.
Participate in new-hire welcome calls and hiring strategy sessions.
Gain exposure to corporate talent acquisition procedures & full-cycle recruitment strategy.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
Human Resources Support & Project Management:
Support the HR team in preparing presentations for management, as well as assisting with Company newsletter preparation.
Personnel file clean up, organization and maintenance.
Assist with general HR projects and tasks as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience you’ll need:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
The desire to set your sights on a career within Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
Ability to prioritize workload, multitask, and pay close attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and the capacity to work independently as well as in collaboration with others is required.
Previous corporate internship experience preferred but not required.
